Apple 在 2020 年開賣 HomePod mini，並在隔年推出新色。不過如果你期待的是新款 HomePod，那麼至少今年不會推出。根據彭博社的 Mark Gurman 指出，Apple 公司正在開發新款 HomePod，外觀與聲音跟初代 HomePod類似，預計會在 2023 年亮相。

新款 HomePod 代號為 B620，預計採用 Apple Watch Series 8 芯片，即 S8 處理器，至於跟初代 HomePod 上的 A8 晶片相比或者是現在 HomePod mini 所採用的 S5 晶片（該晶片效能比 A8 快 20%）相比，性能有什麼不同還不清楚。

Mark Gurman 的報告跟最初的HomePod 傳聞持續保持一致，它的大小跟音頻性能更接近初代 HomePod，頂部有一塊螢幕，甚至支援多點觸控。

至於期待的變化可能可以參考上個月的傳聞：Apple 正在開發結合 Apple TV 與 HomePod 的產品。如果結合兩者的報導，可能新款 HomePod 除了音質更好、甚至支援 Apple TV 的功能，或許將會類似現在的Amazon Echo Show。

除了新款 HomePod，Mark Gurman 預告了新款 Apple TV ，並表示它配備了 A14 Bionic 晶片，產品代號為 J255，與去年推出的 2021 Apple TV 4K 搭載的 A12 晶片相比，預期當然會帶來更快的性能，而這性能可能將為了更順暢運行 Apple Arcade 所設計。
