日本車廠TOYOTA旗下入門掀背車Yaris具備俐落身形，相當適合在都市移動，加上售價親民，因此在許多地區都相當受到歡迎，尤其歐洲更是熱銷的主力市場。不過台灣TOYOTA總代理和泰汽車近日宣布，Yaris因應原廠的商品週期規劃，預計將於明年第3季停產。消息一出引發市場熱議。

Yaris由於入門價僅60萬，折舊、保養成本也低，是許多年輕小資族入手的第一台新車，曾是台灣最暢銷的小型車之一，沒想到2022年第三季累計銷售排行中，前十名車款名單比照上半年，原先位於第五名的Toyota Yaris，跌至第七名。根據《ET Today》報導，台灣市場受限日規新世代TNGA成本售價過高，因此遲遲未有導入新一代Yaris計畫，所以明年將正式告別台灣市場。

台灣原廠也回應，台灣Yaris配合日本產品週期規劃因而停產，官方尚未透露Yaris後繼人選規劃，車界也傳出空出的市場將由全新國產化小型跨界休旅填上，預計車型定位在現行國產 Corolla Cross 車系之下，目前以 Yaris Cross 車系及 Raize 車系機率最高，不過仍需等和泰給出確切消息。而業界指出，Yaris停產之後，二手車行情可能比照已停產的Wish，二手車價反而攀高。
